If I’m not registered to vote, how can I become registered?

The form to register to vote is available here. If you need assistance completing this form or navigating the process, we are happy to help you! Contact Alex or Shaun (contact info below). NOTE: The deadline to register to vote in the primary is on Monday, March 3. If you choose to register via mail, registration applications must be postmarked no later than March 3. If you choose to register in the Municipal Clerk’s Office or Circuit Clerk’s Office, you must do so no later than March 3. We recommend registering as early as possible in order to ensure any issues that may arise could be resolved before the March 3 deadline.

When can I vote?

Most people vote on election day (Tuesday, April 1). If you are a registered voter, you can show up to your designated voting location anytime between 7am and 7pm to vote. You are required to bring an ID with you to vote (most use a driver’s license, but certain other forms of ID are acceptable). If you will be out of town on April 1, or if you are over the age of 65, you are eligible for early voting, which begins on February 18.
